How does MagicMeet work? Book in three easy steps:

1. Pick your date & ZIP—we show only characters who are actually available.
2. Choose your favorite performer—check photos, prices, and reviews.
3. Pay securely with Stripe—we hold the money in escrow until the visit is complete. Then just enjoy the magic!

Are all performers background‑checked? Yes. Every performer completes identity verification and a Checkr background check before getting their listing approved. No background check = no listing.

What happens if my performer cancels or doesn’t show up? Very rare, but you’re covered. You’ll get a 100 % refund plus a $25 credit if the cancellation is within 24 hours, under our Refund & Complaints Policy .

Can I cancel my booking? Absolutely.

• Cancel 72 hours or more before the visit for a full refund.
• Cancel 72–24 hours before and receive 85 %.
• Cancel less than 24 hours before and receive 50 %. See the full refunds policy for details.

Are prices final, or will the performer add fees on arrival? No surprises. The price you see at checkout includes travel, costume, platform fees, and taxes—unless you choose optional add‑ons (like an extra half‑hour).

Can I book more than one character at the same time? Yes! Add each character to your cart for the same date/time slot. Need a parade of Santas or multiple princesses? Contact support and we’ll build a custom package.

I’m a performer—how do I join? Click Post a New Listing in the top menu. Create your profile, connect Stripe Express, upload your background‑check info, and publish your first listing. Most performers go live within 24 hours.

When do performers get paid? After the visit is marked complete (or automatically 24 hours after the scheduled end time if no complaint is filed). Stripe then releases the payout, which reaches the performer’s bank in 2–3 business days.

Do you cover schools, churches, or corporate events? Yes! Choose the “School / Corporate Event” listing type, or reach out for bulk bookings.
